The site is fully operative including CN rail spur line to the site. The company has secured enough fibre for the next 10 years.
GBCE hired WorleyParsons a major engineering company as prime contractor to oversee all mass and thermal balances, complete plant design of handling and interfacing of the major equipment. This development has prompted GBCE to create a business model that is both environmentally responsible and economically viable.
GBCE has also entered into an Off-Take Agreement with Vitol Broking Ltd of UK. Vitol among the world's top five trading and distribution companies in energy, including oil, natural gas, coal and many other commodities, is one of many coal-trading companies that will be marketing our Bio-Coal in the European market.
