BCIC Techworks Co-op Grants: New Eligibility Updates

Take advantage of a Techworks grant and hire a KPU student this Fall

BCEIA member, Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is currently posting jobs for 4 or 8 month terms beginning in September and have students available in the following areas:

Accounting, Criminology, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Environmental Protection Technology, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Marketing

You may also be eligible to receive up to $2,700 to hire a co-op student through the BCIC Techworks Co-op Grant which has recently expanded their eligibility requirements to include more employers:

  • Companies must be established in BC and have 99 employees or less on payroll.
  • Eligible companies are tech firms, non-profit organizations in the technology sector, and non-tech companies hiring for tech roles.
  • If a company has hired a co-op student in the last 5 years, grants are limited to a first term co-op student.
