Invitation for BC Environmental Companies to Exhibit at IFAT, May 14-18 Munich

Assistance provided by BC ministry of Jobs, Trade and Technology (JTT) under Cleantech West program

APRIL 13, 2018 – BC environmental companies in water, sewage and waste are invited to exhibit at IFAT under the Cleantech West umbrella.

IFAT is one of the world’s leading trade events for clean technology solutions in the areas of water, sewage, waste and raw material management. In 2016, 3097 exhibitors from 59 countries exhibited at the event, including over 100 Canadian companies. Today, IFAT includes events in China, India, Turkey, and South Africa and is in its 52nd year.

The opportunity for BC companies to exhibit at IFAT in Munich is made possible by a new federal – provincial collaboration under the Cleantech West label. Using funding from Western Economic Diversification Canada, and with support from the Western provinces, Cleantech West’s goal is to help companies in Western Canada reach global markets.

By removing barriers such as cost for exhibition space (valued at €2,300 per exhibitor) and providing a Canadian program around the event, Cleantech West delegates have the opportunity to showcase their solutions and to use the business matching services provided by the federal Trade Commissioner service and the BC Trade and Investment reps in market.
