UBC Mining Research Trip 2019 – Sponsorship Opportunity

Support the 2019 Graduate Field Research Trip

The graduating class of UBC’s Mining Department organizes an  annual international research trip to gain valuable industry insight on a global level. This year 50 students in the graduating class will be traveling to Sweden and Finland to explore an area UBC Mining has never toured before. The trip will focus on innovation and technology through visits to universities and test sites to provide the students with unique knowledge in the future of mining.

Historically, these trips have been made possible by generous industry sponsorship and support from professional environmental organizations .  Sponsorship is an excellent opportunity to show support for an industry-recognized academic field research experience program.

UBC Mining students provide sponsorship recognition through banners, presentations, and more. This year that has  included recognition at major mining industry conferences & events including:

  • UBC Mining Alumni Dinner

  • CIM Vancouver Student Night

  • UBC Engineering Open House

  • PDAC Conference

  • SME Conference

  • Canadian Mineral Processors Conference

  • CIM National Conference

  • AME Roundup
