For over 50 years, Drillwell Enterprises Ltd. (Drillwell) has been the go-to company for reliable, trustworthy drilling services. Six management and 27 drilling staff provide a host of drilling services from their head office in Duncan and branch office in Kamloops. They provide their clients with an impressive array of additional drilling services including monitoring wells, deep multichannel wells, thermistors, piezometers, inclinometers and other instrumentation. Most environmental and geotechnical work is performed by their fleet of auger, sonic, limited access and direct push units all equipped with SPT hammers and the ability to ODEX or rock drill. In addition they run 5 large dual rotaries (DRs) for diameters up to 24” and depths up to 2000’. These units can advance threaded casing for deeper installs and are a good option for targets which are too deep for sonic rigs. They have vans servicing these units that are fully equipped with dynamic cones, shelby tubes, split spoons, and supplies for monitoring or vapor well installations. Their dual rotary units provide efficient, cost effective installations for deeper overburden or rock situations. BC operations in Kamloops are focused on mine dewatering and instrumentation work, and Drillwell has performed programs in Africa, the Caribbean and the Arctic. The secret to success for Drillwell is exceptional experienced staff, meticulous maintenance, and running the highest quality equipment and tooling available to supply the broadest of offerings to their clients.
