BCEIA Webinar: Territorial Acknowledgement Training

Territorial acknowledgements have been embraced as a formal way to recognize and pay respect to the original peoples of a specific territory, their ancestors, and communities. They are a first step towards Truth and Reconciliation in consideration and acknowledgement of Indigenous people’s rightful place, leadership, and stewardship of the land.

Over the course of an hour, attendees will learn the points to take into consideration when crafting land acknowledgements that espouse genuine care and respect for the original peoples of Canada and the lands we inhabit.

Proceeds support the BCEIA’s annual Indigenous post-secondary scholarship.
