BC Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change: 2026 Clean Industry Fund Uptake Now Open
APRIL 1, 2026: The Province of British Columbia has opened the 2026 intake of the Clean Industry Fund, which reinvests a portion of B.C.’s industrial carbon price to help companies reduce emissions, adopt cleaner technologies and lower the cost and risk of these projects.
Funded projects help companies improve energy efficiency, transition to electrification and operate with lower emissions. This supports good jobs, strengthens local communities and grows B.C.’s clean industry.
Project guidance
Regulated Operations or project partners can discuss a potential emissions reduction project or study by:
- Filling out a Project Concept Form (DOCX, 49.2KB)
- Requesting a meeting with the Program Advisor by email and attaching the form

EP supports projects that reduce emissions at industrial operations using commercially available technologies.

Innovation Accelerator (IA)

IA supports projects that enhance clean technology innovation and industrial decarbonization in B.C. These projects must trial, pilot, or demonstrate novel clean technology at a Regulated Operation.

Feasibility Studies (FS)
